To create cultural harmony by developing a better understanding through an insight of the ritual of tea from different cultures.
The aim is to educate through tea making. Each sachet contains tea from a certain culture which also includes information about a historical event, an iconic/ influential person or a famous quote that the culture lives by. Through this process, the user learns something new with each cup of tea.

The glasses range that takes identity one step further. Inspired by cultural patterns it allows an individuals glasses to become a personal object which represents an aspect of their personality, rather than just being an object of instrumental value.
Identity and heritage is something that individuals are proud of and hold close to their heart, which are expressed through the different foods, music and ethnic clothing patterns.
In the past ethnic patterns have appeared in the fashion industry proving to be a strong trend and still continue to do so. Just to name a few people Vivienne Tam, Valentino, Marc Jacob and Pucci have successfully integrated cultural patterns into their clothing range within the fashion industry. In 2017 ethnic inspired, urban trends took over 44th Sao Paulo fashion week, making it clear to say that different ethnicities have a huge impact within fashion all over the globe.
The most up to date Census data illustrates the growth in a number of different ethnicities within the UK, as a consequence the level of diversity has increased. However despite this growth they continue to be under-represented in all parts society, therefore I have decided to focus on 3 minority ethnic groups, Chinese, Indian and African.
Focusing on the distinct individual cultural patterns for the glasses will allow me to tailor the product to their identity, allowing them to wear with confidence and showcase their origin.
