To create cultural harmony by developing a better understanding through an insight of the ritual of tea from different cultures.
The aim is to educate through tea making. Each sachet contains tea from a certain culture which also includes information about a historical event, an iconic/ influential person or a famous quote that the culture lives by. Through this process, the user learns something new with each cup of tea.
This project was carried out in close connection with GRIP (Greenwich Inclusion Project).

Prohale is an ergonomically designed dry powder inhaler that is used in conjunction with an app called Breath. The inhaler and app allow asthma suffers to take control of their condition, by staying on top of their medication.
Through several iterations of sketches and prototyping with user testing, we came to final decision and created a balance between consumer demands and the type of medication that is currently available.
The packaging is simple, with colour coded exteriors which DPI inhaler users will be familiar to.

Veuve Cliquot are a brand that like to explore the 5 senses. Through research and brainstorming we came up with creative ways to experience these senses. Sight: Colourful, transparent screens framing the area, as well as a ‘gradient’ wall of Veuve Clicquot bottle boxes ranging from yellow to pink.
Touch: Furniture in luxury, tactile materials embodying the silky robe of the champagne.
Sound: An audio track of fizzing, tiny bubbles and bottles being opened is played through the lights which act as a sound cone.
Taste: Edible perfume taster station, with a BA where you learn about the notes of the champagne.
Smell: Everyone gets a premium-feel scratch and sniff card, covered in the same black foil as the bottle, shoppers scratch it to release the scents of all the grapes that make up the Veuve Clicquot blend.
The final design has lead to an immersive space that engages the five senses and welcomes the target consumer with its aesthetics.

The glasses range that takes identity one step further. Inspired by cultural patterns it allows an individuals glasses to become a personal object which represents an aspect of their personality, rather than just being an object of instrumental value.
Identity and heritage is something that individuals are proud of and hold close to their heart, which are expressed through the different foods, music and ethnic clothing patterns.
In the past ethnic patterns have appeared in the fashion industry proving to be a strong trend and still continue to do so. Just to name a few people Vivienne Tam, Valentino, Marc Jacob and Pucci have successfully integrated cultural patterns into their clothing range within the fashion industry. In 2017 ethnic inspired, urban trends took over 44th Sao Paulo fashion week, making it clear to say that different ethnicities have a huge impact within fashion all over the globe.
The most up to date Census data illustrates the growth in a number of different ethnicities within the UK, as a consequence the level of diversity has increased. However despite this growth they continue to be under-represented in all parts society, therefore I have decided to focus on 3 minority ethnic groups, Chinese, Indian and African.
Focusing on the distinct individual cultural patterns for the glasses will allow me to tailor the product to their identity, allowing them to wear with confidence and showcase their origin.
